1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PILA ("Player Invite & League Arranger"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
PILA is operated by PILA Sports. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PILA Sports regarding your use of the platform.
2. Description of Service
PILA is a web-based pickleball session management application that provides:
- Player queue and court rotation management
- Skill-based matchmaking for balanced games
- Win/loss tracking and leaderboards
- Voice announcements for match lineups
- Game day summaries and session reports
- Multi-court and multi-club management (Pro plan)
- Accounting and wallet features for session fees
PILA offers a free Basic plan and a paid Pro plan with additional features. Some features require a registered account; others are available in Guest Mode without registration.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a PILA account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use PILA for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Attempt to access data or features you are not authorized to access.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of PILA.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers without prior written permission.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the service.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create in PILA, including player profiles, session data, and match results. By using PILA, you grant PILA Sports a non-exclusive license to host, store, and display your content as necessary to operate the service.
You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate the rights of third parties or applicable law.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
PILA offers a Pro plan with monthly and annual billing options. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
PILA may change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current rate until the next renewal.
8. Advertising
The free Basic plan is supported by Google AdSense advertising. Ads are displayed to Basic plan users only. Pro plan subscribers do not see ads. By using the free plan, you acknowledge that Google and its partners may use cookies to serve relevant ads. See our Privacy Policy for details.
9. Intellectual Property
PILA, its design, features, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of PILA Sports. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of PILA without prior written permission.
10. Disclaimers
PILA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not liable for any data loss, session interruptions, or inaccuracies in match tracking or statistics.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PILA Sports shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. PILA Sports reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our discretion.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of PILA after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
